• You will act as the primary responsible person and direct contact for the subcontractor assigned to the frequency reference system for the LISA laser system.
• Coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the subcontractor's development activities
• Conduct technical assessments and, if necessary, shadow development.
• Work as part of the payload team, collaborating with engineers from across the entire company.
• Negotiate change requests and manage contract change notices
• Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements regarding quality, cost, and schedule

Requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in the development and project management of space projects (at least 3 years each, at least 5 years in total)
• Sound understanding of optical resonators and PDH locking electronics
• The ability to build trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and foster a culture of inclusion.
• Ability to work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physics, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and on short notice within Europe
