You will lead projects for the development and characterization of the assembly and interconnection technology (AVT) of MEMS sensors (1st-level sensor housing or sensor package). Description

• You lead projects for the development and characterization of the assembly and interconnection technology (AVT) of MEMS sensors (1st-level sensor housing or sensor package).
• You are responsible for concept creation, concept decision-making, and the development of the MEMS sensor housing.
• You ensure the selection, approval, and qualification of new suppliers (Assembly-Subcons and equipment and raw material manufacturers).
• You take care of the development and approval of new assembly processes and materials as well as their handover to production.
• You plan and commission equipment and processes for assembly and interconnection technology in coordination with production.
• You create specifications and technical documentation for equipment, assembly processes, and MEMS sensor housings.

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Master/Diplom/PhD) in materials science, engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, microsystem technology, natural sciences (physics, chemistry), or a comparable course of study.
• You are creative, independent, assertive, and flexible.
• You have knowledge and several years of experience in the field of sensor technology, assembly and interconnection technology (Packaging), as well as experimental design.
• You have enthusiasm for technology and the ability to quickly and deeply familiarize yourself with technical topics.
• Willingness to travel and intercultural competence (especially for Asia).
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
