Logistics Officer
To coordinate the efficient movement of personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies to support Oil & Gas operations, projects, and offshore/onshore activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate transportation and movement of personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies.
Plan and monitor logistics activities for operational and project requirements.
Coordinate crew movements, mobilization, demobilization, and travel arrangements.
Liaise with transporters, vendors, marine operators, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers.
Coordinate delivery, receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to operational locations.
Prepare logistics schedules, movement plans, and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate records of vehicles, equipment movements, deliveries, and logistics activities.
Monitor logistics costs and support cost-control initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company HSE, security, and logistics procedures.
Resolve transportation, delivery, documentation, and scheduling issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
Support offshore/onshore mobilization and project logistics as required.
B.Sc./HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5–7 years’ relevant logistics experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience supporting offshore/onshore operations is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Nigerian Oil & Gas logistics and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.
