The Authority for Psychological Defence protects the open and democratic society and the free formation of opinion by identifying, analyzing, and countering improper influence and other misleading information directed at Sweden or Swedish interests.

The Authority is led by a Director General, has approximately 90 employees, and has offices in Karlstad and in Solna.

The Authority secondments staff to both EU and Nato. The seconded employees are employed by the GD-staff but perform their daily work at the receiving organization. The GD-staff is the Director General's support for strategic coordination and management of the Authority. The staff's tasks include, among other things, coordinating and project managing cross-departmental matters, developing directions for the Authority's work, as well as consolidating internal governance and control. The GD-staff also coordinates the Authority's international work.

We are now seeking an analyst who will work with the assessment of the information environment. This is a twelve-month secondment and will be located at the ”Plans and Insights Section” within the division for strategic communication at Nato's headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

The seconded employee will be part of a dynamic team and work closely with a variety of different experts in strategic communication – including specialists in data analysis and target group surveys – to analyze, understand, and report on the fast-moving and intensely competitive information environment. The seconded employee will contribute to communication planning and evaluation as well as support Nato's work in countering information threats.
