Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable part-time Health Care Aide to support individuals with daily living and personal care needs. The role involves providing senior care and may include assisting people with disabilities in a home care or residential setting. The ideal candidate treats each person with dignity, respects their preferences, and helps maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
Duties
- Provide attentive caregiving and support with activities of daily living, following each person?s care plan.
- Offer companionship and respectful assistance to older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Support people living with dementia using patient, person-centered communication and routines.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed, while following dietary instructions.
- Complete light cleaning and household tasks to help keep the care environment tidy and safe.
- Observe and report changes in a person?s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate care team member.
- Follow safety, privacy, infection-prevention, and documentation procedures.

Qualifications
- CLHA Registration
- Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check
- Immigration status documents
- Compassion, patience, reliability, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plan, maintain professional boundaries, and respect confidentiality.
- Caregiving, senior care, or home care experience is an asset.
- Assisted living or nursing home experience is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or providing dementia care is an asset.
- Senior/Dementia Care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification
- CLHA Registration (preferred)
What we offer
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
