Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Trade Marketing Supervisor to oversee and drive the end-to-end trade marketing and brand management operations for our key retail sub-brands: 5 Mins / Cleopatra Food and Maderra . In this dual-impact role, the successful candidate will lead brand strategies, product lifecycle management, budget formulation, and new product development (NPD), while driving execution across modern trade and key retail channels. You will be directly responsible for structuring trade deals, promotional strategies, and Business Development Agreements (BDAs), as well as overseeing external outsource agencies to manage merchandiser teams for optimal in-store execution in hypermarkets and retail outlets. Leading a dedicated team of marketing and e-commerce specialists, you will bridge strategic brand vision with field execution to deliver sustained brand growth, operational excellence, and strong market presence in line with My Way’s corporate vision.

Key Responsibilities Trade Deals & Promotional Planning Design, implement, and evaluate effective Trade Deals and promotional activities across Modern Trade, Hypermarkets, and Key Accounts for 5 Mins and Maderra .

Prepare the trade marketing calendar, aligning promotional campaigns with overall business objectives and seasonal demands.

Monitor promotional ROI and analyze sales data to evaluate the performance and efficiency of trade schemes.

Business Development Agreements (BDAs) Structure, manage, and track Business Development Agreements (BDAs) with key modern trade accounts and hypermarkets.

Ensure contract compliance, listing agreements, shelf space allocation, and secondary display commitments across targeted outlets.

Coordinate with internal sales and finance teams to reconcile promotional settlements and trade investments.

Outsource Merchandiser & Agency Management Act as the primary point of contact and manager for the external outsourcing agency handling the company's Merchandisers in hypers and retail stores.

Set clear KPIs, route plans, and performance targets for outsourced merchandisers to maximize Planogram compliance and Share of Shelf (SOS).

Conduct regular field audits to ensure flawless execution of POSM (Point of Sale Materials), stock availability, shelf appearance, and promotional displays.

Channel & Category Growth Develop tailored trade strategies for both category lines: Food Mixes & Spices ( 5 Mins ) and Detergents & Home Care ( Maderra ).

Conduct market visits and competitive benchmark analyses to identify trade trends, price positioning, and channel growth opportunities.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Brand Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure stock availability and seamless execution of trade campaigns.

Strategy, Policy & Operational Leadership Formulate and enforce operational policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the brand team to ensure execution accuracy according to marketing leadership plans.

Develop annual, periodic, and long-term brand strategies, converting brand goals into actionable, measurable initiatives and key priorities.

Lead and mentor the Brand Team across Cleopatra Food and Maderra , assigning tasks, setting KPIs, conducting regular tracking meetings, and managing performance evaluations in coordination with HR.

Conduct technical interviews for candidate selection and identify training needs to enhance team performance and efficiency.

Product Lifecycle & Innovation Management (NPD) Drive strategic decisions regarding product lifecycles—including new product launches, product line extensions, and product rationalization/delisting based on sales gap analysis.

Lead new product proposals and development projects, presenting business cases (market, technical, commercial, and financial rationale) to key decision-makers.

Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to test initial samples, select raw materials, evaluate packaging, and ensure launch readiness.

Manage immediate corrective actions and contingency plans for raw material shortages, production delays, or field technical issues.

Integrated Marketing Communications & E-Commerce Integration Ensure seamless alignment across POS materials, trade promotions, campaign messaging, and e-commerce platforms to maintain a unified brand message.

Supervise the digital and print collateral design process in collaboration with the Graphic Design team, providing detailed creative briefs and verifying technical artwork before print production.

Coordinate with the Digital Marketing & E-Commerce teams to analyze customer sentiment and online feedback, using insights to refine marketing campaigns and product performance.

Stakeholder Alignment & Performance Reporting Lead cross-functional coordination with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Graphic Design, and external agencies/vendors to guarantee project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Review all monthly, bi-annual, and annual team reports for data accuracy and commercial alignment.

Prepare periodic progress reports for the Marketing Director, detailing plan status, achievement rates, KPIs, challenges, corrective measures, and proposed growth opportunities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 5–7 years of experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry (prior experience handling both Food and Home Care/Detergent is highly preferred ).

Leadership: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, managing brand/marketing specialists.

Proven track record in structuring Trade Deals, Promotions, and BDAs with Modern Trade/Hypermarket chains.

Strong experience in managing external outsource agencies and third-party merchandiser networks.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, data analysis) for measuring trade spending and promotion performance.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Strong expertise in full Product Lifecycle Management, GTM strategies, and NPD processes.

Deep understanding of financial metrics, cost target formulas, and marketing budget management.

Hands-on experience supervising field activations (tastings, exhibitions) and managing agency/vendor relationships.

Solid analytical capability (sales analysis, gap analysis, market trends) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.

Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.
