Test Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer at My Jewellery, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our integrations between multiple SaaS solutions. You combine the development of test automation with manual testing, helping to realize the transition towards more automated testing. In a complex landscape of various systems and integrations, you ensure both efficient test automation and thorough manual tests. You work together with a driven development team and various departments such as warehouse, sales, and customer service. The testing of our webshop is performed by another team.

Your tasks Collaborating with different departments to clarify requirements;

Proactively advising on quality improvements;

Designing and executing test scenarios for new functionalities;

Developing and maintaining automated API tests with Playwright and TypeScript;

Determining which processes can be automated and establishing a strategy for this;

Performing manual (chain) tests on various integrations and business processes;

Documenting test processes and results in Qase.

You have a sharp eye for detail and an analytical way of working;

You are not afraid to ask follow-up questions and pinpoint the exact problem;

You have extensive experience with software testing, preferably in an e-commerce environment;

You have experience with test automation and JavaScript/TypeScript;

You can quickly grasp complex business processes;

You communicate clearly and can collaborate well with various stakeholders;

You enjoy working in an environment where AI is central to test strategy and test automation;

You speak fluent English.
