Tasks

• As a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d), you will review requirements and manage tenders as well as inquiries and orders in the procurement process
• Additionally, you will analyze national and international procurement markets and identify suitable suppliers as well as new procurement potentials
• Furthermore, you will prepare supplier negotiations, conduct them independently, and coordinate closely with project procurement and other specialist departments
• Additionally, you will support the development of strategic supplier relationships and accompany the selection and qualification of suitable suppliers
• In doing so, you will analyze requirements and offers, identify cost reduction potentials, and implement suitable measures to optimize procurement

Qualification

• The basis is a degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, or Rechtswissenschaften, alternatively a commercial or technical training with relevant additional qualification and corresponding purchasing experience
• You bring several years of professional experience as a Strategischer Einkäufer (m/f/d), Technischer Einkäufer (m/f/d), or Beschaffungsmanager (m/f/d)
• Required are a strong technical affinity and product knowledge, as well as good knowledge of contract law and a good understanding of legal contexts
• Additionally, you have very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office as well as fluent English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage
• Important are negotiation skills, analytical and economic thinking, as well as an independent and structured way of working
