Job Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beauty and aesthetic establishment, supervising staff, ensuring quality customer service, and maintaining smooth and efficient business operations. The Supervisor will assist the Manager in coordinating staff, monitoring service standards, handling customer needs, and ensuring that company policies and procedures are properly followed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning
  • Assign daily duties to staff and manage manpower coverage to meet operational needs
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance to maintain high standards
  • Oversee beauty therapists, specialists, receptionists, and operational staff to ensure adherence to service procedures and hygiene standards
  • Evaluate the quality and consistency of beauty, aesthetic, and wellness services delivered to customers
  • Assist customers by responding to enquiries, managing appointments, recommending services, and addressing general requests
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the Manager as needed
  • Manage appointment scheduling, customer bookings, and daily service coordination to optimize workflow
  • Support sales activities including promotions, packages, memberships, and customer retention initiatives to drive revenue
  • Monitor daily sales performance and assist staff in achieving sales and service targets
  • Encourage staff to deliver excellent customer service and promote appropriate services and packages
  • Train and guide new and existing employees on service standards and operational procedures to ensure consistent quality
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of treatment rooms, equipment, reception areas, and facilities
  • Monitor availability and proper use of beauty products, equipment, and supplies to prevent shortages and damage
  • Assist with inventory checks and report shortages or damaged items to the Manager for timely resolution
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure smooth supply chain operations
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure daily operations are completed accurately
  • Maintain accurate records of customer appointments, sales, inventory, and operational activities for reporting purposes
  • Report staff, customer, operational, and service-related issues to the Manager to support continuous improvement
  • Assist the Manager in implementing operational improvements and maintaining service standards
  • Ensure compliance with workplace, hygiene, safety, and company policies to provide a safe environment
  • Perform other supervisory and operational duties as assigned by the Manager or company
