We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to evaluate operations, identify inefficiencies, and support management with data-driven insights to improve productivity and achieve business goals.
- Analyse business operations, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Gather, review, and document business requirements through discussions with management and stakeholders
- Prepare business reports, performance summaries, dashboards, and presentations to support management decision-making
- Collect and analyse business data, sales figures, operational metrics, and market information to identify trends and performance gaps
- Develop actionable recommendations to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, resource allocation, and overall business performance
- Assist in developing and monitoring business plans, operational strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on business progress and outcomes
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate implementation of business improvement initiatives
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends
- Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, findings, recommendations, and project progress
- Support management in evaluating new business initiatives and assessing their operational impact
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical business recommendations
- Good written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience in business analysis, operations analysis, or management reporting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
