Your tasks

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic Technical Specialist / Associate Technician to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of integrated audiovisual (AV) and IT infrastructure solutions across commercial and live event settings.

1. AV & IT System Integration & Installation

  • Assist with on-site mounting, cabling, termination, and hardware setup for AV equipment (displays, video walls, digital signage, audio DSPs, control systems, and microphones).
  • Support the configuration and patching of network/IT devices supporting AV-over-IP (AVoIP) networks, switches, and wireless setups.
  • Perform pre-installation bench testing and field testing under supervision to ensure all AV routes function accurately.

2. Technical Support & Preventive Maintenance

  • Provide Tier 1/2 technical troubleshooting at client sites, helping resolve AV/IT operational issues promptly.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks, including firmware updates, cable checks, and audio/visual quality adjustments.
  • Assist with live event AV setup, technical run-throughs, and real-time operational support when required.

3. Client Support & Documentation

  • Walk clients through basic system operations to ensure smooth user adoption.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, equipment logs, and support updates.
  • Assist in managing project hardware inventory, tools, and spare parts.

Fresh graduates (NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma) are fully welcome to apply!

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:We strongly encourage fresh graduates to apply.* Prior internship experience, school project exposure, or up to 1 year of hands-on technical support experience is an advantage.

Technical Aptitude

  • Basic understanding of audio/video connections, network protocols (TCP/IP), or computer hardware.
  • Hands-on comfort with basic hand tools and cable management.
  • Eagerness to learn commercial AV brands (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Dante, Shure).
