EDI Project Manager (M/F)

About the company

Our client is a data exchange player, created over 30 years ago, which supports several hundred companies, including large industrial groups.

The company is organized into three divisions: technical data exchange (its historical activity, in the automotive industry), commercial and logistical data exchange (EDI), and a telecom operator activity (network, fiber optics, VPN, VoIP, firewall, cloud).

Your tasks

The position concerns the EDI activity, which is experiencing strong growth.

Reporting to the EDI activity, you will work on various missions:

• Manage the deployment of new client projects, ensuring the relationship with the client and its partners
• Develop and implement new mappings (technology based on XML / XSLT: an activity similar to programming)
• Support the sales teams in building their offers
• Participate in customer support with your colleagues
• Ensure system monitoring, react to alerts, and correct anomalies

Requirements

Autonomous and dynamic, curious and committed, you will be able to evolve across different levels of skills and responsibilities.

The profile sought

• Minimum Bac+2 degree in IT, preferably with an option in networking or databases (Bac+3 preferred); self-taught individuals with a good technical base may apply
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an EDI Project Manager or in EDI deployment support
• Real and operational knowledge of the main EDI messages, at least in EDIFACT syntax
• Mastery of Linux and Shell (minimum 1 year of advanced use, operation, or administration)
• Skill and interest in development, regardless of the language (1 year of experience desired excluding internships and school); knowledge of PHP and XSLT would be greatly appreciated
• Experience in data exchange
• Correct written and spoken English (professional level B1/B2)
• Interpersonal ease and a taste for client contact, good quality oral and written communication
