Process and Plant Operations Engineer - Barros Blancos

More than 20 production lines in operation, with a focus on continuous improvement, the professionalization of its processes, and the sustained growth of its operations.
The role
We are looking for a Process and Plant Operations Engineer to join a solid organization with real-scale operations. A technical, leadership position reporting directly to Management, designed for professionals who enjoy both plant work and management and planning.
Main responsibilities
- Planning, coordination, and supervision of plant production
- Surveying, documentation, and optimization of production processes
- Supervision and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Management of supply and availability of inputs for continuous operation
- Definition and monitoring of plant KPIs: yield, shrinkage, costs, equipment availability
- Preparation of management reports and reports for Management
- Leadership of operational teams: line supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel
- Active participation in the implementation and maintenance of management and quality systems
Profile sought
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in industrial production environments
- Knowledge of management systems, quality, and process improvement (ISO or others — highly valued)
- Advanced use of Excel and management tools
- Profile with natural leadership, autonomy, and the ability to relate to different levels of the organization
- Planning, analysis, and results-oriented skills
Conditions
On-site — Barros Blancos, Canelones | Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 18:00 hs.
