At the same time, as a specialized contract manufacturer, we are a sought-after full-service partner for the international cosmetics industry.

For our location Im Rosengarten 7, 76532 Baden-Baden (formerly BCG Baden-Baden Cosmetics Group GmbH), we are looking for the earliest possible date:

Regulatory Affairs Manager Cosmetics / Product Compliance (m/w/d)

full-time 40 h

Your tasks:

• Regulatory assessment of cosmetic formulations and raw materials to ensure worldwide marketability
• Creation and maintenance of product profiles in close coordination and cooperation with the R&D development team
• Creation of bulk numbers as well as precise synchronization and data maintenance of formulas in the SAP GUI system
• Technical examination, assessment, and approval of product claims, advertising statements, and labeling
• Examination of specific customer requirements, legal specifications, and customer-internal blacklists (especially for Private Brand)
• Support R&D in raw material selection as well as in the development and assessment of raw material alternatives
• Creation of Technical Sheets and Communication Sheets as an interface to Marketing and Sales
• Close regulatory accompaniment and support of assigned Private-Brand projects from conception to market maturity

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Technology, or a comparable natural science qualification
• Sound knowledge of the structure and law of cosmetic products (EU Cosmetics Regulation, Claims, Labeling, and Safety Assessments)
• Several years of practical experience in the field of Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the cosmetics industry, a corresponding authority structure, or a testing laboratory
• Confident handling of MS-Office applications as well as practical experience in data maintenance with SAP GUI or comparable systems
• Good to business fluent English skills for the international regulatory environment
• Strong communication skills, enjoyment of interdisciplinary work with many interfaces, and a precise, independent way of working
