What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate lessons aligned with ECDA guidelines and our curriculum framework
- Bring learning to life through storytelling, music, arts and crafts, field trips and more
- Build a warm, inclusive and safe classroom where every child feels they belong
- Track each child’s progress and adapt your teaching to different learning needs
- Partner with parents through regular check-ins and conferences
- Mentor Educarers and assistant teachers, and help guide the bay team
- Keep the classroom safe, clean and organised, in line with ECDA and SPARK standards
- Contribute to team meetings, Centre projects and community events
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECDA-recognised)
- At least 1 year of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with comfort using data and reporting tools
- A proactive, growth-minded attitude
- High integrity and a commitment to Jamiyah’s mission
- Willingness to attend occasional events outside office hours
