Job Summary
Execute graphic design styles to create effective visual communications that support Jamiyah’s marketing and community outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
- Represent Jamiyah as an ambassador at events managed by Jamiyah or its partners on regional and international platforms
- Adhere to Jamiyah’s policies, procedures, and instructions to maintain organizational standards
- Protect Jamiyah’s internal affairs and information privacy and confidentiality
- Conceptualize and develop creative ideas and designs to enhance the functionality of Jamiyah’s marketing campaigns
- Respond to briefs by designing branding campaigns and promotional materials for print and digital media to meet communication objectives
- Assist the Senior Graphic Designer in executing graphic styles across various formats including brochures, posters, flyers, and social media content
- Support production of key publications such as the Annual Report and Voices of Islam newsletter
- Manage projects from initial design through final artwork and production to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth project completion
- Oversee in-house printing processes when required
- Take initiative and responsibility for multiple project deliverables simultaneously
- Perform other related duties as directed by Head of Marcom or Senior Management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Professional Graphic Design field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the creative industry in a similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience designing graphics for community events, social services, education, or healthcare sectors
- Strong ability to learn and retain new concepts quickly
- Ability to design with clear communication objectives
- Solid knowledge and understanding of design principles
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
