An exciting opportunity has arrived at The Garcha Group, Singapore’s boutique hotel group currently with the following hotels:

Restaurants & Bars

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Review all facilities with an aesthetic eye for detail.
Be well-organized and able to be hands-on to troubleshoot and fix issues related to air conditioning (Daikin VRV), plumbing, humidity, all M&E issues, service provider management, and optimize efficiency while reducing operating costs.
Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, resourcefulness, and exceptional efficiency.
Ensure all accommodations and facilities are well-maintained and free from operational issues.
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
Troubleshoot, plan, and coordinate all installations, repairs (telecommunications, heating, electrical systems, etc.), and refurbishments.
Take a hands-on approach to maintaining buildings, equipment, and supplies in accordance with health and safety standards.
Inspect building structures to identify and implement necessary repairs.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and service providers.
Monitor utility consumption and implement measures to minimize operating costs.
Supervise facilities staff, maintenance personnel, and external contractors.
Oversee activities such as waste disposal, building security, and general facilities management.
Manage insurance plans and service contracts.
Maintain accurate financial and non-financial records.
Maintain and update all relevant maintenance and facilities management trackers.
Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Other Requirements Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.

Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues is highly preferred.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.

Required skills: Hotel Maintenance/Technician Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
