  • Represent Future Biogas at industry events, conferences, trade associations and working groups.
  • Build relationships with government departments, MPs, civil servants and industry bodies.
  • Support the identification of new commercial opportunities and contribute to responses to requests for information (RFIs).
  • Deliver policy updates, presentations and webinars to internal and external audiences.
  • Produce engaging articles and content on renewable energy, anaerobic digestion and the UK's journey towards net zero.

About You

Future Biogas is looking for a proactive and self-motivated policy professional who enjoys taking ownership and building strong relationships across a business.

You'll bring:

  • A degree in Environmental Management, Geography, Agriculture or another relevant discipline.
  • Relevant experience within the sector or a government environment.
  • Strong policy research, analysis and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • The confidence to work independently and influence both internal and external audiences.
  • A genuine interest in renewable energy, sustainability, agriculture and environmental policy.
  • Experience across areas such as anaerobic digestion, biomethane, renewable energy, agriculture, circular economy, waste, resource management, carbon capture or environmental regulation would be advantageous.
