Job Description: Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company, is looking for a Laserscan Technician (m/f/d) to support a major semiconductor construction project in Dresden.

The focus of this position is on the processing, registration, quality control, and management of terrestrial laser scan data. You will work with state-of-the-art reality capture technologies and support project teams in providing precise and meaningful data for construction execution, quality control, and project reporting.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in the areas of laser scanning, geomatics, surveying, point cloud processing, BIM, or Digital Construction.

Your Tasks

• Processing of terrestrial laser scan data from ongoing construction site projects.
• Registration, alignment, and quality inspection of point clouds.
• Analysis and resolution of quality and registration issues.
• Creation of structured point cloud datasets for project teams.
• Support with as-built vs. as-designed comparisons as well as verification processes in the construction environment.
• Creation of technical reports, visualizations, and project evaluations.
• Maintenance and organization of project data and reporting tools.
• Collaboration with surveying, BIM, and project teams to support project execution.

Your Profile

Requirements

• Experience in processing laser scan data and point clouds.
• Experience with point cloud registration and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of software such as Leica Cyclone, CloudCompare, Faro Scene, Trimble RealWorks, or comparable solutions.
• Structured and meticulous way of working.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Unrestricted work permit for Germany.

Advantages

• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or Power BI.
