English language teacher for children's extracurricular activities

Job duties: The teacher's task is to prepare playful extracurricular lessons for children aged 4-9 and thereby teach the English language. The teacher will be assisted by the extracurricular school's curriculum, materials, training, and a friendly team with whom it is always possible to discuss joys, concerns, and ideas. One extracurricular lesson is 40 minutes long and the lessons take place in kindergartens (and schools) both in Haapsalu and its surroundings. Lessons take place only during the week and mostly start from 3:00 PM. A flexible schedule and a light workload (1-12 hours per week) are very suitable for working alongside school or another job. In addition to lesson preparation and conducting the lesson, job duties include marking children's attendance in a Google sheet and sending a lesson summary to parents.

On our part, we offer: Our teachers work in a supportive and caring team, where no problem is left unsolved. During the school year, we organize several trainings on emerging topics and spend pleasant time together. The teacher has the freedom to shape their own unique lesson! To this end, we offer an extensive collection of learning materials and songs, but ultimately, each teacher designs their own lessons. If materials or ideas are lacking, co-teachers and the extracurricular school academic director will help with lesson preparation. We offer part-time and flexible working hours (1-12 hours per week). Lessons take place only during the week and usually start from 3:00 PM. This leaves time for school or other activities. Our teachers earn a competitive salary. We also reimburse transport costs for both personal car and public transport travel.
