M&E Engineer (Data Centre)

Data Centre M&E Engineer — Singapore Employment term: 12-month renewable contract We are seeking a Data Centre M&E Engineer to coordinate mechanical and electrical building systems in a live, critical environment. The role covers operational support for UPS, generators, cooling and power distribution, as well as incident, change, vendor and contract management. Key responsibilities Coordinate the operation, maintenance and testing of data centre power and cooling systems.

Work with facilities teams and vendors to investigate incidents, restore service and follow through on corrective actions.

Review and coordinate planned changes and maintenance activities to minimise operational risk.

Track vendor performance, service deliverables, maintenance schedules and contract obligations.

Maintain incident, change and maintenance records, and provide clear operational updates to stakeholders.

Requirements Engineering qualification in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering.

Substantial experience with M&E building systems in a data centre or comparable critical facility.

Practical knowledge of UPS, generators, cooling and power distribution systems.

Experience coordinating incidents and controlled changes in a live operational environment.

Proven vendor management experience; exposure to service contracts and IT service management processes is highly desirable.
