MTrec’s new job opportunity MTrec Technical is proud to represent our industry-leading manufacturing client in their search for a skilled Extrusion Operator. This role involves a continental shift pattern and is well suited to those with prior experience setting up and operating extrusion machinery.

Your tasks

The Job you will do

• Set, operate, and oversee the running of specialist extrusion machinery and ancillary equipment
• Monitor and maintain product specifications, carrying out online adjustments as required
• Carry out checks relevant to production specifications
• Prepare finished products for despatch
• Accurately complete all production paperwork
• Support the shift Team Leader & carry out all quality tests/measurements
• Move pallets as required

Requirements

• Ideally, you will have previous experience of setting and operating extrusion equipment
• You will be a team player and happy working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication is essential for the role.
• You will be fully flexible and available to work continental shifts.
