MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our specialist manufacturing client in their recruitment for a CAD Technician to expand their current team. The role will focus on design work for a variety of bespoke engineering projects, for a portfolio of rapidly expanding clients.

The Job you will do:

• Carry out 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret customer requirements and technical specifications
• Working closely with the project engineering team
• Making necessary design adjustments to fit bespoke client needs

About you:

• Experience/understanding of Airflow, LEV systems, vacuum/extraction or similar products is essential
• Experience working with sheet metal/metal-based manufacturing products is desirable
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Good communicator at all levels
• Able to work well in a small team, and liaise effectively with clients and internal departments
