Your tasks

Responsible for the architecture, development and management of scalable and commercially viable ICT/Converged Cybersecurity solutions that address the needs of MTN Ghana’s SME, Corporate and Public Sector customers.

Cybersecurity Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect and develop end-to-end ICT/Cybersecurity solution propositions covering threat detection, network security, endpoint protection, identity management and managed security operations.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and RFP/RFQ responses, including security architecture design, risk assessment, solution sizing and commercial modelling.
• Provide technical expertise in security architecture, threat modelling, vulnerability management, SIEM/SOC integration, zero-trust architecture and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure solutions align with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and MTN Group security architectural guidelines.

Product & Managed Services Management

• Maintain the Cybersecurity and Converged Services product roadmap from concept and business case through in-life management and solution rationalization.
• Define and maintain the Cybersecurity managed services catalogue, including SOC-as-a-Service, MDR, EDR and DDoS protection, pricing and SLA frameworks.

Customer Security Assessment

• Lead customer security assessments and gap analyses, including vulnerability scanning, security posture reviews and compliance readiness assessments.
• Use assessment outcomes to inform solution design and generate business opportunities.

Innovation & Ecosystem Partnerships

• Identify and develop innovative Cybersecurity use cases and managed service offerings with ecosystem partners.
• Develop solutions for key sectors including financial services, public sector, oil & gas and critical national infrastructure.

Sales Enablement

• Deliver product and technology briefings to Sales, Client Success and Marketing teams.
• Equip commercial teams to effectively position and sell Cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications required: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM, or equivalent. Vendor-specific certifications (Fortinet NSE 7, Palo Alto PCNSE, Microsoft SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect (minimum one active certification).
• Additional certifications advantageous: Professional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) preferred in addition to or in place of postgraduate academic qualification.

• Minimum of 5 years of total experience in ICT/Cybersecurity solutions, enterprise technology, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks and architectures, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero Trust and SASE.
• Knowledge in enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including endpoint security, network security, identity and access management, and managed detection and response.
• Knowledge in security operations, threat intelligence, SIEM, log management and security analytics.
• Knowledge in enterprise cybersecurity platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Fortinet and Palo Alto.
• Knowledge in cloud security services, including AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender and Cloudflare.
• Knowledge in enterprise security infrastructure, including firewall management, IAM/PAM, multi-factor authentication and SOC integration.
• Knowledge in enterprise B2B sales cycles, solution selling, outcome-based commercial models, RFP/tender processes and contract structures.
