Job Summary:
To lead the design, implementation, and management of portfolio data analytics and reporting capabilities that drive informed decision-making across the enterprise project portfolio and Business Transformation initiatives. The role supports executive insights through high-quality dashboards, trend analysis, performance metrics, benefits tracking, and reporting in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Tasks
- Portfolio Analytics & Insights
Develop and maintain a comprehensive analytics framework to track performance across all projects and programs Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support strategic alignment and delivery excellence Monitor project KPIs (cost, time, scope, quality, benefits) and recommend interventions to the Senior Manager and stakeholders
- Enterprise Project Reporting
Design and deliver structured periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for ExCom, CEO, Project Sponsors, and Governance Forums Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of all portfolio reporting outputs Prepare data-driven insights and executive summaries with key recommendations
- Dashboard Management
Develop and manage real-time dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure integration of relevant projects and business data sources
- Governance & Compliance Support
Ensure reporting is aligned with MTN’s portfolio governance framework, standards, and processes Contribute to governance forums by providing timely portfolio performance data and insights
- Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in portfolio reporting processes and tools Lead analytics innovation initiatives within the Transformation Office to enhance project execution performance visibility
- Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with divisional project managers, finance, and strategy teams to ensure data quality and consistency Provide analytical support and ad hoc reports to senior management as required
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Statistics, Data Science, or related field Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PfMP) preferred Certification in Data Analytics, Power BI, or related tools is advantageous
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, portfolio reporting, or data analytics At least 3 years in a supervisory role with responsibility for reporting or analytics Experience in telecom, technology, or large enterprise PMO is desirable
Professional/Technical Competencies:
Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio performance metrics and reporting Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, Jira, etc.) Knowledge of benefits realization and financial performance tracking Stakeholder management and influence Results-oriented and proactive mindset High level of integrity and accountability
