Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily engineering and technical activities on site.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on technical, design, and site matters.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies encountered during construction.
- Prepare and review RFIs, technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate construction activities and assist in resolving site and technical issues.
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and overall project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in civil construction for MRT, railway, or tunnelling projects preferably with A1 main contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management and relevant regulations.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
