The Automotive Chassis & Body Diagnostic Technician provides advanced technical support to dealer networks and acts as an expert on complex diagnostic and repair issues. The role involves close collaboration with Level 1 support, technical departments, engineering, quality, and suppliers to resolve escalations, reduce repeat repairs, and improve after-sales service quality. This position has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, repair lead times, first-time fix (FTF) rate, as well as network efficiency. Main missions and responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for Level 2 technical escalations from dealers and Level 1 support. Diagnose complex faults using manufacturer diagnostic tools (e.g., Diagbox, wiTECH) and interpret electrical diagrams to accurately guide repairs. Provide technical expertise in the chassis/body field. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and suppliers to validate root causes, define corrective actions, and contribute to field fixes and technical bulletins. Analyze case trends to identify systemic issues and recommend preventive actions or knowledge base updates. Provide structured support to workshops: diagnostic steps, repair procedures, and parts recommendations to improve the first-time fix rate. Create and deliver technical communications as well as training (remote or on-site) to strengthen the technical capabilities of the network. Ensure accurate documentation of files: diagnostics performed, measurements, test results, conclusions, and repairs carried out. Monitor KPIs (resolution time, repeat rate, customer satisfaction, impact on warranty costs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards, and manufacturer procedures. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the repairability of new products and provide technical feedback to development teams.

Experience: Proven experience in automotive after-sales and advanced diagnostics, ideally within a dealer network or an OEM. Proficiency in resolving complex faults and supporting workshops through diagnostic processes. Experience collaborating with technical, quality, or engineering teams. Experience in technical training or documentation writing is a plus. Technical knowledge and skills: Good knowledge of modern automotive systems, particularly chassis and body systems. Proficiency with manufacturer diagnostic tools (Diagbox, wiTECH or equivalent). Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and perform advanced electrical diagnostics. Knowledge of after-sales, warranty, and quality processes. Mastery of root cause analysis methods (5 Why, Ishikawa). Good level of English; other languages are an asset.
