Automotive Technical Support Engineer – German Speaking
Are you an experienced automotive technician who loves finding the root cause of a fault? Would you like to use that expertise from a desk instead of the workshop floor? Join MSX International's new Technical Support team in Budapest . You will help workshop technicians in the German-speaking dealer network of a leading global car manufacturer diagnose and fix vehicles right the first time. Your hands-on diagnostic experience is what counts.
What you will do Handle technical cases from German-speaking dealer workshops through a ticketing system Analyse fault codes, symptoms, live data and repair information to find the root cause Guide technicians to the right repair, in clear written German Document every case accurately and escalate complex cases to our Level 2 team with all the information they need Spot recurring issues and share them with the engineering team Build your expertise on electric and high-voltage vehicles through manufacturer training
What you bring Hands-on experience in a dealer or independent workshop, with a focus on diagnostics A technical qualification (e.g. Kfz-Mechatroniker, Kfz-Techniker, Kfz-Meister, automotive technician) or an engineering degree Confident use of diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams and repair information systems Fluent German and good professional English An analytical, independent way of working, and the patience to handle a high volume of cases The right to work in the EU Nice to have High-voltage / EV qualification (e.g. DGUV 209-093 level 2S/3S or equivalent) Experience with a technical hotline, warranty or ticketing tools
