RESPONSIBILITIES

Reinsurance Inward Fac & Outward Fac (including COI)

  • Perform reconciliations & following up with reinsurers
  • Analyse Incoming Funds
  • Process payment transactions
  • Prepare Oracle journal entries

Reinsurance Outward Treaty

  • Perform reconciliations
  • Prepare summaries & Technical Statement of Accounts
  • Manage settlement processes and & following up with Reinsurance Brokers

Month-End closing

  • Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations for Reinsurance accounts.
  • Prepare IFRS17 Oracle journal entries
  • Extract SAP COI listings
  • Handle survey Fees rebilling

Yearly Audit Confirmation

  • Prepare summaries and SOA

QUALIFICATIONS

Accounting qualifications or relevant work experience

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Good understanding of accounting practices, preferably insurance industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant finance and accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SAP systems.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel.
