Our client is the largest and most versatile pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands. The company specializes in the field of veterinary medicines. They develop, produce, and distribute medicines for livestock and companion animals. This medication is shipped to customers in more than 140 countries. Within MSD, biotechnological procedures are performed with respect for animal welfare. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic laboratory technician.
Who are we looking for?
What do you need to start working as a laboratory technician:
- MBO 4 education biotechnicus
- Affinity with animals and respect for animal welfare
- Proficiency in the English language
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP quality systems

Job Description
In this position, you perform biotechnological procedures on animals with respect for animal welfare and, where necessary, with the correct anesthesia. You observe the animals for behavior and health and maintain these data accurately. Additionally, your activities consist of:
- Reading, understanding, and working according to SOPs, test protocols, and work instructions
- Performing activities according to GLP and GMP quality systems
- Independently conducting animal studies
