Forklift Supervisor - Binstores

About the company

At Mr Apple, we're looking for an experienced Forklift Supervisor to join us on a unique 12-month fixed-term opportunity. You'll spend approximately seven months leading forklift operations in our Binstores team before transitioning to one of our orchards for the remainder of the term, gaining valuable cross-functional experience and a broader understanding of our business.

Your tasks

What You’ll Be Doing You'll play a key role in ensuring fruit moves safely and efficiently through our post-harvest operation while supporting team performance and operational success.

• Operating a forklift for the movement and storage of fruit bins
• Coordinating fruit treatments, storage activities and inventory control
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability information
• Working with transport, production and receiving teams to optimise fruit flow
• Supporting and guiding team members to achieve operational goals
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture across the site

Requirements

• Proven forklift operating experience
• Computer literacy and record management skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Leadership or team coordination experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards
