Qualifications and experience required

BSc or graduate engineer with relevant industry experience in oil and gas operations.

Advanced skills and knowledge of campaign and shutdown management techniques, preferably in the petrochemical, refining, oil and gas exploration, and/or production industries.

Awareness and basic use of planning software tools, such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills required.

Solid leadership skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural environment.

Fluent in English (listening, writing, and speaking) including technical vocabulary.

Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

High level user of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) SAP.

Medically fit to work offshore on an oil and gas platform.

Accountabilities

Ensure compliance with the company’s incident-free culture, health and safety, and environmental policy to deliver an incident-free shutdown.

Manage the pre-work, preparation, and execution phases of campaigns and shutdowns in line with associated standards and procedures.

Collate all information into a booking board and communicate with onshore coordinators to ensure readiness for execution.

Implement necessary actions to guarantee objectives are achieved.

Assist the offshore installation manager with a comprehensive and detailed execution plan for each campaign and shutdown.

Provide daily reports to and via the company operations center campaign and shutdown coordinator.

Manage contractor resources to ensure safe and reliable delivery of activities.

Contribute to the development of level 4 plans to maintain the critical path.
