Job Responsibilities
- Define, propose, and manage the organization of a team dedicated to the Alternative Water Sourcing activities for every phase of the project development, ensuring an appropriate plan for mobilization.
- Manage all parties involved in the Alternative Water Sourcing (EPCa contractor meaning Engineering Procurement Construction assistance, C contractor meaning Construction, suppliers, project team in interface) during every phase of development (engineering, procurement, construction assistance, and construction).
- Manage the interfaces of the Alternative Water Sourcing with other packages such as Network WellPads Pipeline, Central Processing Facilities, or Affiliate/Operations, in cooperation with the Project Phase 2 Interfaces Manager.
- Ensure that the Alternative Water Sourcing meets all project requirements and complies with all applicable rules, codes, and standards, specifically regarding H3SE requirements.
- Update regularly, at least quarterly, the risk register of the related scope and implement corresponding mitigation actions.
- Promote innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Implement the local content and social performance plans as approved, motivating contractors to effectively carry out all necessary steps, including recruitment and training of Iraqi nationals.
- Provide active support to the Head of GPI in communication with partners and stakeholders for the Alternative Water Sourcing.
Responsibilities During Min-FEED Phase (Including EPCa and C CFTs Phases)
- Work closely with the engineering team to maximize value enhancement opportunities.
- Identify bidders and obtain bidders list approval (local contractors with acceptable capacity and capability).
- Manage the EPCa and C contracting activities, including bidders list definition and RTA issuances and approvals.
Responsibilities During the EPCs Phase
- Implement an appropriate plan for mobilization.
- Deliver the Alternative Water Sourcing as per the agreed budget and planned schedule.
- Hand over adequate Alternative Water Sourcing for future use by other projects.
