What we are looking for

We are looking for you who:

Have a genuinely positive attitude and a desire to learn

Thrive working in a multicultural and hectic environment

Are able to multitask effectively and maintain focus

Have knowledge of basic computer use (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook).

Are over 20 years old

It is not mandatory, but skills in at least one Scandinavian language are preferred. English, both spoken and written, is required.

Previous experience in hotels or customer service will be considered a significant advantage. If you do not have this, you will of course receive thorough training.

Are you awake while the rest of the city sleeps?

At Moxy Tromsø, we do hotels a little differently. We love energy, personality, and people who dare to be themselves. Now we are looking for a night shift worker who can hold the fort through the small night hours and ensure that our guests receive a safe, pleasant, and seamless experience.

This is not a job for you who just want to sit behind a reception desk. With us, you are a host, problem solver, and creator of security in one and the same role.

Who are you?

You thrive when things are happening, but are also able to keep a cool head when it is quiet.

We want you who:

Are service-oriented and genuinely enjoy people

Are independent and take responsibility

Have good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and a Scandinavian language is desirable!

Have the ability to see solutions rather than problems

Are comfortable working alone at night

Have experience from hotels, service, or reception, but the right personality is most important

What does the job involve?

With us, no day is the same - and we like that. You will have a varied role where you help create good experiences for our guests, from the time they check in until they check out (and everything in between).

You will, among other things:

Welcome guests with a smile and handle check-in and check-out in the reception

Serve drinks in the sky bar (yes, the view is as good as the atmosphere)

Set out breakfast for our guests and wish all early birds "good morning" while you're at it

Ensure that our guests feel seen, welcome, and cared for

Collaborate closely with the rest of the crew so that the hotel runs smooth
