Your tasks

• Important company in the retail and self-service sector is looking for a Purchasing Manager with strategic vision, solid experience in commercial negotiation, and team leadership, to direct the procurement strategy and maximize the profitability of assigned categories.
• What will you do? * Design and implement purchasing strategies by category. * Lead and develop a team of Buyers. * Negotiate commercial conditions and strategic alliances with suppliers. * Manage negotiations with high economic impact. * Analyze commercial indicators, sales, margins, and inventories for decision-making. * Supervise supply levels and merchandise distribution. * Develop commercial strategies and promotions to boost profitability. * Manage budgets and ensure compliance with the area's financial objectives. * Guarantee the growth and performance of the categories under their responsibility.
• Profile we are looking for * Completed Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, Business, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar position. * Experience in retail, self-service, mass consumption, or distribution companies. * Experience managing product categories. * Solid track record in negotiation with suppliers and development of commercial relationships. * Experience leading work teams. * Experience in high-volume commercial negotiations (exceeding $100 MDP monthly, desirable).
• Indispensable knowledge * Strategic negotiation. * Purchasing and demand planning. * Inventory management. * Supplier development. * Commercial indicators, sales and margin analysis. * Forecast and commercial planning. * Advanced Excel. * ERP management (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
