Feature Film Project | Entry-Level Role

About the Role

We are creating a ground breaking feature-length animation and are looking for a curious, self-directed Animation Executive to join our production team. This entry-level role combines hands-on animation work with structured learning and experimentation in emerging AI-assisted workflows. You will support the animation pipeline from pre-production through post-production, collaborate closely with the Director and creative team, and help turn concepts, scripts, and storyboards into polished visual sequences. Key Responsibilities

• Animation Production: Support the feature-film project across key stages of production, including storyboarding, animatics, asset preparation, animation, compositing, rendering, and final delivery.
• Creative Execution: Translate briefs, scripts, references, and the Director’s feedback into clear and engaging visual sequences.
• AI Experimentation: Test AI-assisted animation techniques, including generative assets, motion synthesis, lip-sync, and other emerging workflows where appropriate.
• Output Refinement: Edit and refine AI-generated material to improve visual consistency, timing, composition, continuity, and production quality.
• Team Collaboration: Work with animators, interns, designers, writers, and editors to incorporate feedback and meet creative and production goals.
• Workflow Documentation: Record prompts, techniques, tests, and learnings so successful approaches can be repeated and improved.
• Production Organisation: Maintain project files and asset libraries, follow naming and versioning conventions, and keep assigned work on schedule.
• Quality and Responsible Use: Check deliverables against creative, technical, copyright, confidentiality, and responsible-AI requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up with developments in animation and generative AI, and apply relevant discoveries to the project.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Animation, Film, Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or are lated discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• A portfolio, showreel, or personal projects demonstrating animation skills, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving.
• Foundational understanding of animation principles and the production pipeline from storyboard to final render.
• Comfort with at least one animation, design, 3D, or video-editing tool.
• Strong interest in experimenting with generative AI animation tools and learning responsible production practices.
• Self-directed, systematic, and able to document processes and produce results with guidance.
• Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Recent diploma or degree holders are encouraged to apply.

Preferred, but NotEssential

• Exposure to tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, or comparable software.
• Experience with AI image, video, lip-sync, voice, or motion-generation workflows.
• Basic knowledge of character design, rigging, 2D or 3D animation, compositing, sound editing, or colour correction.
• Awareness of licensing, copyright, privacy, and ethical considerations when using AI-generated content.
