Controller / Business Controller
We are looking for a Controller with a Business Partner profile, capable of acting as a right hand to leadership and transforming financial information into business decisions. The position requires a hands-on, analytical, agile, and results-oriented professional, with experience in technology and/or services environments, management of multiple CNPJs, and strong performance in planning, financial performance, and governance. More than a traditional Controllership role, we are looking for someone with a broad business vision, the ability to question numbers, identify efficiency opportunities, and directly support senior management in decisions related to EBITDA, cash generation, margin, and productivity. The behavioral profile will carry significant weight in the evaluation: we are looking for someone with a sense of urgency, an ownership mindset, high tolerance for pressure, executive communication, and a modern, data-driven vision of the finance area.
Responsibilities and assignments
Responsibilities
- Lead Controllership activities, ensuring quality, consistency, and reliability of financial information;
- Manage and consolidate the financial results of multiple CNPJs;
- Conduct budget, forecast, and financial planning processes;
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators, focusing on EBITDA, cash, margin, costs, and productivity;
- Produce managerial and executive analyses that support senior management in strategic decision-making;
- Act as a Business Partner to leadership, connecting numbers to business needs and decisions;
- Identify deviations, risks, and opportunities, proposing corrective actions and improvements;
- Lead and develop the Controllership team;
- Support financial closing processes, audits, banks, investors, and corporate governance;
- Evolve dashboards, indicators, and management tools through Power BI and automation;
- Continuously seek opportunities to eliminate manual controls, increase efficiency, and improve information quality;
- Support strategic projects, including, when applicable, M&A, integrations, corporate structuring, and FP&A initiatives.
Requirements and qualifications
Essential
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Controllership;
- Experience in technology and/or services companies;
- Experience with financial management and consolidation of multiple CNPJs;
- Solid experience with budgeting, forecast, and results analysis;
- Advanced mastery of Power BI;
- Experience with corporate ERP;
- Experience in leadership and team development;
- Intermediate to advanced English;
- Strong analytical capacity and business vision;
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership, translating numbers and indicators into recommendations and decisions.
