About the company
A growing Freight Forwarding & Shipping company in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Shipping Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on accounting experience within the Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics industry, with a good understanding of shipping-related financial transactions and day-to-day accounting operations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics is mandatory. • Practical experience in AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and shipping-related payments. • Familiarity with shipping line invoices, port charges, and freight forwarding transactions. • Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
