Cleaning Manager for Stöten/Idre

Mountain Lodge Stöten is now seeking an engaged and driven full-time Cleaning Manager with overall responsibility for our cleaning operations at our hotels in Stöten and Idre. This is a role for you who thrives with leadership, personnel responsibility, recruitment, structure, and a fast pace, and who wants to be part of developing the business in the long term.

Mountain Lodge in Stöten is a seasonal hotel with main operations during the winter. Our operations in Idre have a longer season and are conducted more year-round. As Cleaning Manager, you will therefore have overall responsibility for both operations, with a focus on building strong teams, ensuring quality, and creating effective routines that work both during high season and calmer periods.

About the role

Your main tasks include, among others:

• Having overall responsibility for the cleaning operations in Stöten and Idre
• Recruiting, staffing, and building up cleaning teams before and during the season
• Introducing, training, leading, and developing employees
• Planning and distributing daily work
• Responsibility for scheduling and personnel planning
• Ensuring high and consistent quality in our hotels and accommodations
• Developing routines, working methods, and structure within cleaning
• Following up on staff, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborating closely with other departments and management
• Being a present and clear leader who creates job satisfaction and engagement
• Ensuring that we always have the right staffing based on occupancy and the needs of the business

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a cleaning manager. We would like you to be self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented, and that you enjoy taking responsibility. You are a natural leader who can combine clarity with a good manner. You find it easy to build trust and enjoy both leading others and rolling up your sleeves yourself when needed. You are an engaged team player who enjoys collaborating with people from different backgrounds. Since our team consists of employees from many different parts of the world, good knowledge of English is important.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in supervision and personnel responsibility
• Experience from hotels, cleaning, or similar operations
• Experience in recruitment and staffing
• Good organizational skills
• A strong focus on quality and service
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Team player
• B-driver's license

This is a full-time position with a varied and important role in our organization.
