About the company
Motorway Car Rentals is a leading Singapore car rental company with over 10 years of experience and a fleet of 1,000+ vehicles. We specialize in short-term rentals and long-term leasing, including luxury and commercial vehicles, supported by a full vehicle service centre and multiple convenient branches.
Your tasks
You will manage vehicle readiness and availability, support customer service, and assist operations to ensure smooth vehicle deployment and maintenance at Motorway Car Rentals.
- Manage and monitor vehicles parked within company premises and nearby areas to ensure proper organization and security
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning and inspecting them before collection, deployment, replacement, or customer handover to ensure readiness
- Report vehicle issues, damages, or defects promptly to the Maintenance Officer to maintain fleet safety and reliability
- Update the system daily with accurate vehicle availability and status to support operational planning
- Respond professionally to phone enquiries from salespersons and customers to provide timely and courteous assistance
- Attend to walk-in customers regarding maintenance concerns and coordinate replacement vehicles when needed to minimize downtime
- Assist the Operations team with vehicle deliveries, collections, and swaps for repair or servicing to support efficient fleet management
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support team needs
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum GCE N/O Level Certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in MS Office applications to manage records and reports
- Ability to multitask proactively in a fast-paced environment
