Responsibilities and assignments
Prepare accounting reports and records in accordance with accounting, corporate, and tax principles and standards, within the deadlines, policies, standards, and procedures established by Motiva.
Implement procedural changes in Accounting and Tax Legislation, as well as support updates to corporate technical standards. Prepare and provide monthly trial balances and management consolidations and, in the case of trial balances, in the pattern established by the granting authorities, aiming to ensure that they correctly reflect the economic-financial situation of the business unit and the Motiva Group through the periodic execution and review of trial balances and reconciliations. Support the preparation of Individual and Consolidated Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements and the corresponding publications of Accounting Statements in newspapers, in order to guarantee the accuracy of the information to be disclosed to the market, Comissão de Valores Mobiliário (Publicly traded companies), shareholders, and other interested parties. Responsible for the technical analysis of matters of greater complexity, such as: financial assets, leasing, IRU contracts, fixed and variable concessions, corporate restructurings, among others, aiming to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Prepare the company's ancillary and corporate obligations (Sped Contábil, ECF, Information to the Granting Authority) within the established deadlines. Calculate and collect own federal taxes. Handle external audit, internal audit, and granting authority work through necessary clarifications, by providing requested documentation, on-site assistance, and review of assurance reports.
Implement changes in tax legislation through analysis, impact studies, and adaptation of tax systems. Maintain technical updates and follow market trends through participation in seminars, forums, internal and external training, among others.
Requirements and qualifications
- ✅Completed Higher Education in Ciências Contábeis.
- ✅Active CRC.
- ✅Knowledge of Tax Legislation and International Accounting Standards.
- ✅Knowledge of ERP – SAP
- ✅Knowledge of IT (Office Package: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- ✅Advanced English.
- ✅Availability to work in Jundiaí/SP.
