Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

Using sensors (wearables) and AI, we can improve the ergonomics and efficiency of processes, e.g., in production or logistics.

Tasks

Main responsibility for firmware development in C with a focus on sensor technology and data recording

(Further) development of robust data upload and fleet management processes

Testing, maintenance, and continuous further development of our firmware

Co-design and support of the entire product development process from conception to roll-out

Analysis and solution of technical errors at the hardware and firmware level

Support in the maintenance and technical care of existing devices

Technical support in the case of complex questions and error patterns

Collaboration with Product Management and adjacent teams regarding the use and further development of our products

Qualification

Completed studies or a comparable qualification in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or similar

Several years of professional experience in embedded development

Very good knowledge of C and experience in hardware-related software development

Experience with hardware platforms such as Nordic nRF and Espressif ESP32

Confident handling of collaboration tools such as Git, GitLab, Teams, and Co.

Prior knowledge in the field of Bluetooth Low Energy, Real-Time Operating Systems, and/or AWS IoT Core desirable

Teamwork skills, commitment, and strong communication skills

High degree of personal responsibility, as well as a reliable, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

Hands-on mentality, manual dexterity, and joy in contributing your own ideas

Good English skills
