Scheme Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive Scheme Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operation of one of our Later Living schemes. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality housing services, supervise scheme staff, and ensure excellent health and safety and compliance standards for our customers.
What do our Scheme Coordinator’s do; Deliver high-quality housing management services, including allocations, lettings, tenancy sign-ups, void management, arrears monitoring, and supporting customers to maximise their income.
Ensure the scheme remains safe, compliant, and well maintained through risk assessments, health and safety inspections, building checks, repairs management, and accurate record keeping.
Provide excellent customer support by carrying out daily wellbeing checks, responding to emergencies, offering advice and guidance, and working closely with external agencies to support tenant welfare and safeguarding.
Build strong partnerships with colleagues, contractors, community organisations, and funding bodies, while organising social activities and initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
Lead and develop the scheme team through effective supervision, coaching, recruitment, communication, and performance management, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for; Good standard of education, with an awareness of health and safety and a commitment to delivering safe, customer-focused services.
Experience of working directly with customers and the ability to identify and respond to the needs of older people; experience in a supported housing environment is desirable.
Knowledge of tenancy and property management, with an understanding of welfare benefits considered advantageous.
Strong communication, organisational and ICT skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Confident in responding to emergencies and facilitating social activities, events and meetings that promote customer wellbeing and community engagement.
