Your tasks

The Fleet Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Fleet Officer will manage daily operations of company vehicles and its affiliates, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring usage to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance and repairs, tracking fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, handling driver assignments, and resolving fleet-related issues in a timely manner. The Fleet Officer will contribute to process improvements, support budgeting and reporting for fleet activities, and uphold company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for tracking fleet performance, costs, and compliance data.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to respond effectively to internal and external requests related to fleet operations.
• Candidates should possess Procurement skills for sourcing vehicles, parts, and maintenance services in a cost-effective manner.
• Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management skills to optimize logistics, routing, and timely availability of vehicles.
• Relevant experience in fleet management, logistics, or operations in a corporate environment.
• Ability to use fleet management software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management capabilities.
• Minimum of a relevant diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Must be a Sharp person
