Data Specialist(Geospatial) - 12 Months Contract -$5.5k

We are seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist. In this role, you will oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of large-scale geospatial datasets, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of high-quality mapping outputs.  Key Responsibilities: Gather geospatial information using proprietary platforms and internal tools. Monitor, analyze, and grade large datasets through consistent validation processes. Oversee and coordinate daily mapping activities, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, high-quality outputs. Conduct routine quality checks, including translation and transcription tasks when required. Contribute to the development of high-precision maps suitable for autonomous navigation. Work closely with transport and other functional teams to drive project execution. Support physical AI-driven data processes. Assist in pilot programs and scaling activities related to merchant intelligence. Provide analytical support and prepare reports for team leaders and managers. Strictly adhere to internal confidentiality standards and policies when handling, storing, and sharing data. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, or a related discipline. At least 1 year of relevant experience in geospatial data, mapping, or related operations. Background in operations, geospatial data, mapping, data annotation, marketplace operations, or pilot execution. Strong enthusiasm for maps, paired with analytical and problem-solving abilities. Skilled in SOP creation, QA frameworks, root-cause analysis, and continuous process optimization. Familiarity with data sources such as OpenStreetMap is advantageous; proficiency in QGIS and spreadsheet tools (Excel/Sheets) is a plus.
