Chartered Secretary - 12 Months Contract

Are you a legally trained professional or experienced corporate secretary looking to play a key role in a high-impact financial merger? We are seeking a meticulous and drive-oriented Chartered Secretary to support the company in delivering a major M&A transaction for a licensed, regulated insurer. What You'll Do Coordinate high-level transaction workstreams, including board/committee approvals, corporate resolutions, delegations of authority, and regulatory filings. Provide advisory and secretariat support to Boards and Committees while ensuring strict compliance with Singapore company law and local insurance regulations. Manage key relationships across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, external counsel, and regulators, as well as handle director onboarding and induction. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline required. Legally trained fresh graduates (1-2 years' experience) OR experienced lawyers returning to the workforce after a career break. Prior exposure to corporate governance, regulatory expectations, or M&A transactions within a banking or insurance environment. Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the confidence to manage executive stakeholders under tight project deadlines.
