Audit Senior; Excellent firm. East London/ Essex borders

My client, a highly regarded and established accountancy firm based on the Essex/East London borders, is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join its growing team. The role involves working with a broad range of clients across different sectors, taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion and working closely with Managers and Partners. The role will include: Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion

Preparing and reviewing audit working papers and financial statements

Supervising and supporting junior members of the team

Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships

Identifying and resolving audit and accounting issues

Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, within agreed deadlines and budgets

Working closely with Managers and Partners on a varied portfolio of clients

The successful candidate will ideally: Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualification

Have strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice

Be confident leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff

Have good technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards

Possess strong communication and client relationship skills

Be organised, proactive and keen to develop their career
