Homeless Support Worker

About the company

A new support service in Ealing is recruiting Support Workers to join the team from 1 November 2026 until 30 March 2027.

Your tasks

The service will support individuals experiencing homelessness, providing practical assistance, guidance and person-centred support to help people access the services they need and work towards greater stability, independence and improved wellbeing.

• Provide person-centred support to vulnerable adults.
• Assist service users with accommodation, referrals and access to community services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records.
• Follow safeguarding, risk assessment and health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.

Requirements

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people experiencing homelessness.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
• Compassionate, patient and non-judgemental approach.
• Flexibility to work a rolling rota.

Desirable: Punjabi-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

*Location: Ealing, West London Contract: Temporary, 1 November 2026 - 30 March 2027 Working Hours:** 7 days a week, between 7am and 9pm on a rolling rota
