Job Title: Functional Skills Maths Tutor - Peterborough Contract Type: Permanent Salary Range: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum About the Role / Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our team in Peterborough. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Functional Skills Maths. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support. Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices. Experience and Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed). Level 3 Maths qualification or equivalent. Proven experience in teaching Maths, particularly at the Functional Skills level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
