Temporary with the potential to become permanent 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday) £15 - £16 per hour To start as soon as possible Covering the Cheshire West and Chester area Our client Morgan Hunt are working with a leading charity committed to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and homelessness. They provide high-quality, person-centered services that empower our clients to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. The Role: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Domestic Abuse Worker for a temporary contract with the potential to become permanent, covering the Cheshire West and Chester area. In this role, you will work within the community and across dispersed refuge space, providing vital support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. You will play a key role in helping clients regain stability, access essential resources, and rebuild their lives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify client needs and create tailored support plans. Provide emotional and practical support to clients experiencing domestic abuse. Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure clients have access to necessary resources and services. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. Conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. Support clients in accessing housing, education, and employment opportunities. The Candidate A strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and families. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality practices. Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly in a social care or support role. A driver with access to a car for work (business insurance needed). An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the update service or the willingness to complete a new application.
